Biden Administration Tragedies and Missteps

I’ve been closely monitoring Joe Biden’s Twitter feed for a book I’ve been working on. For the week of September 12-18, 2021, he never mentions several tragedies and missteps the incompetence of him and his administration caused during this time period. Since he is ignoring them, I wanted to highlight them.

Killing Children:

There is not a word in Biden’s Twitter feed about how the Biden administration disgraced America and caused a tragedy by droning 10 innocent Afghans, including seven children. Where is the apology and the firings and criminal prosecutions of those responsible for this act of terrorism?

“The strike was a tragic mistake,” Marine Gen. Frank McKenzie, head of U.S. Central Command, told a Pentagon news conference.

“I am now convinced that as many as 10 civilians, including up to seven children, were tragically killed in that strike,” McKenzie said. “Moreover, we now assess that it is unlikely that the vehicle and those who died were associated with ISIS-K, or a direct threat to U.S. forces,” he added, referring to the Islamic State group’s Afghanistan affiliate.

McKenzie apologized for the mistake and said the United States is considering making reparation payments to the family of the victims.

KABUL, Afghanistan — A survivor of an errant U.S. drone strike that killed 10 members of his family demanded Saturday that those responsible be punished and said Washington’s apology was not enough.

Americans and Afghan Allies left Behind:

There is also not a word in Biden’s Twitter feed about the hundreds of Americans and our Afghan allies Biden left behind in Afghanistan and who are hiding out, in fear for their lives. For details on this debacle, see: Trib Live/ AP. Fearful U.S. residents in Afghanistan hiding out from Taliban.

All of it goes on during the agonizing wait for a call from anybody who can help them get out. A U.S. State Department official contacted them several days ago to tell them they were being assigned a case worker, but they haven’t heard a word since. They’ve also been talking to an international rescue organization.

“We are scared and keep hiding ourselves more and more,” the mother said in a text message to The Associated Press. “Whenever we feel breathless, I pray.”

Through messages, emails and phone conversations with loved ones and rescue groups, AP has pieced together what day-to-day life has been like for some of those left behind after the U.S. military’s chaotic withdrawal — that includes U.S. citizens, permanent U.S. resident green-card holders and visa applicants who aided U.S. troops during the 20-year war.

Those contacted by AP — who are not being identified for their own safety — described a fearful, furtive existence of hiding in houses for weeks, keeping the lights off at night, moving from place to place, and donning baggy clothing and burqas to avoid detection if they absolutely must venture out.

All say they are scared the ruling Taliban will find them, throw them in jail, perhaps even kill them because they are Americans or had worked for the U.S. government. And they are concerned that the Biden administration’s promised efforts to get them out have stalled.

Haitians Surge at the Border:

There is not a word in Biden’s Twitter feed about the crisis Biden created at the border. Not only are there 100,000s of illegal aliens crossing the border every month from Central America, but now we have the humanitarian crisis of 14,000 Haitians living under a bridge in Texas. Haitians crossed the Rio Grande freely and in a steady stream, going back and forth between the U.S. and Mexico through knee-deep water with some parents carrying small children on their shoulders. Unable to buy supplies in the U.S., they returned briefly to Mexico for food and cardboard to settle, temporarily at least, under or near the bridge in Del Rio, a city of 35,000 that has been severely strained by migrant flows in recent months.

Migrants pitched tents and built makeshift shelters from giant reeds known as carrizo cane. Many bathed and washed clothing in the river.

The vast majority of the migrants at the bridge on Friday were Haitian, said Val Verde County Judge Lewis Owens, who is the county’s top elected official and whose jurisdiction includes Del Rio. Some families have been under the bridge for as long as six days.

Trash piles were 10 feet wide, and at least two women have given birth, including one who tested positive for covid-19 after being taken to a hospital, Owens said.

Val Verde County Sheriff Frank Joe Martinez estimated the crowd at 13,700 and said more Haitians were traveling through Mexico by bus.

Moreover, despite claims by the Biden administration that all of these illegal aliens from Haiti would be flown back there, many in fact are being dispersed throughout the USA. There is no word if these illegals are being screened for Covid or having background checks performed on them. DEL RIO, Texas — Many Haitian migrants camped in a small Texas border town are being released in the United States, two U.S. officials said, undercutting the Biden administration’s public statements that the thousands in the camp faced immediate expulsion.

Haitians have been freed on a “very, very large scale” in recent days, according to one U.S. official who put the figure in the thousands. The official, who has direct knowledge of operations, was not authorized to discuss the matter Tuesday and spoke on condition of anonymity….

The Homeland Security Department has been busing Haitians from Del Rio to El Paso, Laredo and the Rio Grande Valley along the Texas border, and this week added flights to Tucson, Ariz., the official said. They are processed by the Border Patrol at those locations.

A second U.S. official, also with direct knowledge and speaking on the condition of anonymity, said large numbers of Haitians were being processed under immigration laws and not being placed on expulsion flights to Haiti that started Sunday [9/19/21]. The official couldn’t be more specific about how many.

Covid Vaccine Booster Shots:

There is not a word in Biden’s Twitter feed about the FDA advisory board rejecting his plan to give all Americans a Covid vaccine booster shot. It only recommended such for those 65 and over and those at high-risk.

The incompetent Biden administration had gotten ahead of the science rather than “following the science” as Biden promised. By this inept act, Biden increased vaccine hesitancy. By saying everyone needed a booster shot, when in fact only the elderly and high-risk groups do, you now have those who are younger and healthy thinking the vaccines don’t work. I’ve seen social media posts of people joking, “It’s 2025, and I’m lining up to get my 5,000th Covid booster shot.” But in fact, the vaccines are still highly effective even without a booster for the young and healthy.

This Biden administration misstep will lead to the tragedy of 1000s of Americans dying needlessly from Covid due to not being vaccinated. For details, see: “Trib Live/ AP. An influential federal advisory panel overwhelmingly rejected a plan Friday to offer Pfizer booster shots against covid-19 to most Americans, dealing a heavy blow to the Biden administration’s effort to shore up people’s protection amid the highly contagious delta variant.

The vote by the committee of outside experts assembled by the Food and Drug Administration was 16-12, with members expressing frustration that Pfizer had provided little data on the safety of extra doses. Many also raised doubts about the value of mass boosters, rather than ones targeted to specific groups.

Dealing the White House a stinging setback, a government advisory panel overwhelmingly rejected a plan Friday to give Pfizer COVID-19 booster shots across the board, and instead endorsed the extra dose only for those who are 65 or older or run a high risk of severe disease....

“While research suggests immunity levels in those who have been vaccinated wane over time and boosters can reverse that, the Pfizer vaccine is still highly protective against severe illness and death, even amid the spread of the highly contagious delta variant.” …

Earlier this week, two top FDA vaccine reviewers joined a group of international scientists in publishing an editorial rejecting the need for boosters in healthy people. The scientists said continuing studies show the shots are working well despite the delta variant.

Angered France and the UE:

Finally, there is not a word in Biden’s Twitter feed about him insulting France and our other European Union (EU) allies. Biden rightly realized China is a threat. But to counter it, he formed a coalition with just the United Kingdom (UK) and Australia. In doing so, he circumvented a deal France already had with Australia to sell them nuclear powered submarines. That might sound like a shrewd business move, but it caused France to pull its ambassadors out of the USA and the rest of the EU nations to also feel disused. Those hurt foreign relations override any economic benefits of the sale of a few subs.

After promising European leaders that “America is back” and that multilateral diplomacy would guide U.S. foreign policy, Biden has alienated numerous allies with a go-it-alone approach on key issues. France’s foreign minister expressed “total incomprehension” at the recent move, which he called a “stab in the back,” and the EU’s foreign policy chief complained that Europe had not been consulted.

The AP Deserves Credit:

I must give the AP credit for writing fair stories about these Biden created tragedies and missteps and to my local newspaper for reprinting them on its website. We are finally getting some real reporting about the incompetence of the Biden administration from the MSM.

However, the mainstream media (MSM) and Big Tech did their best to hide that potential corruption from the American public, so that Biden could win the election. That worked, or so it was said. But allegations of voter fraud and anomalies abounded.
