Worst Foreign Policy Debacle in USA History

By Gary F. Zeolla

Fox News, Jen Psaki ‘out of the office’ as Biden remains silent on Taliban takeover of Afghanistan

White House press secretary Jen Psaki is taking a break from her duties at the same time as controversy surrounds the silence of President Joe Biden, who is on vacation while the Taliban quickly seizes control of Afghanistan.

What can they say? Biden completely screwed up the withdrawal from Afghanistan. As much as the Biden administration is trying to deny it, this is the Fall of Saigon 2.0. Even CNN pointed out the parallel, showing on air last night (8/15/21) a picture of a helicopter rescuing Americans from the rooftop of the US embassy in Saigon in 1974 side by side with a picture of a helicopter rescuing Americans from the rooftop of the US embassy in Kabul from yesterday.

This is the very scene Biden denied would occur in his July 8 speech, just over a month ago. In that same speech he predicted that the Afghan government would hold, and that the Afghan army would be able to withstand a Taliban resurgence. How wrong he was.

Even worse than the fall of Kabul is just before it, the Taliban captured a facility that was housing 5,000 Al Qaeda and ISIS prisoners, and they released all of them! With thousands of Al Qaeda and ISIS back on the battlefield, I fully except to see Al Qaeda 2.0 and ISIS 2.0 reformed, stationed in Afghanistan and protected by the Taliban. And we will be right back to where we were on September 10, 2001.

That means 20 years of fighting for nothing. 20 years of over 2,400 brave Americans soldiers being killed for nothing. Over 20,000 of out brave American soldiers wounded and maimed for nothing. $2 trillion of our tax dollars spent for nothing.

Meanwhile, as the Taliban have surged across the country, they have been raping thousand of women and girls, and 15 million Afghan women and girls will see all rights removed, as they are relegated to the level of chattel, of no more worth than an ox.

Plus, as our troops have been retreating, they are leaving our military hardware behind, that the Taliban is picking up and using. The worst is seeing a parade of US armored Humvees being driven by the Taliban, with the Taliban flag flying from them. We also left behind Blackhawk helicopters and military aircraft, 200 aircraft in total. One major advantage we had over the Taliban throughout the war was we had an air force, they did not. But we just gave them one, including the military Bagram airbase. The decision to abandon that airbase is really being criticized.

If Biden had any competence as Commander-in-Chief, he would have instructed our troops to either retrieve that hardware, or at least leave it in an unusable state. Really, how hard would have been to throw a grenade into a Humvee if they were going to leave it behind?

But at least the Taliban are letting US troops evacuate Americans and our allies from the Kabul airport without firing upon them. I can only guess the Taliban are thinking, “Why poke the bear when it is running away?” And yes, that is what is happening, the USA is running away.

There was meme circulating after 9/11 of a US flag and the words, “These colors don’t run.” Well, under Biden, they do.

Even without the Taliban shooting at our troops as they are withdrawing, there is still chaos at the Kabul airport. That is because throngs of Afghans are storming the airport, trying to get on US planes and out of the country before the brutal Taliban rule begins. Biden had no plans for such a situation.

Biden will now try to blame Trump for this debacle. But please note, former generals under Trump have been on FNC and Newsmax outlining Trump’s withdrawal plan that they say would have prevented this debacle. But Biden abandoned that plan, not because it was not a sound plan, but for one simple reason—it was Trump’s plan.

What Trump understood that Biden doesn’t is there is no real loyalty to the Afghan government among Afghans. Their loyalties are more to their local tribes and war lords. Trump had negotiated a shared power plan between all of these tribal war lords, the Taliban, and the Afghan government. But Biden abandon that plan.

As a result, those 300,000 Afghan troops that Biden bragged about back on July 8 were not really loyal to the Afghan government, but Biden never understood that. Rather than bravely standing against the Taliban, as Biden thought, as the Taliban surged across the country, those troops either turned tail and fled or joined the Taliban.

Trump also had a plan to get all US civilians and our Afghan allies out before removing our troops, and he had a plan for removing our military hardware. But again, Biden nixed all of those sound plans for the simple reason they were Trump’s plans.

It is the same approach he used on the southern border. He reversed all of Trump’s policies but now is trying to blame Trump for the disaster at the southern border.

But try as he might, both the Afghanistan debacle and the southern border disaster are on Biden. It is his polices that led to these messes, not Trump’s, as again, Biden reversed Trump’s policies for both.

I have been saying for the past decade that Obama was the worst President of my lifetime, displacing Jimmy Carter for that dishonor. But in just over 200 days, Biden has now displaced Obama as the worst President of my lifetime. A disaster and a debacle, all Biden’s fault, and we still have 3-/12 years left of this incompetence. May God help us.

Trib Live/ AP. Taliban sweep into Afghan capital after government collapses

Taliban fighters entered Kabul on Sunday and sought the unconditional surrender of the central government, officials said, as Afghans and foreigners alike raced for the exit, signaling the end of a 20-year Western experiment aimed at remaking Afghanistan.

The beleaguered Afghan government, meanwhile, hoped for an interim administration, but increasingly had few cards to play. Civilians fearing that the Taliban could reimpose the kind of brutal rule that all but eliminated women’s rights rushed to leave the country, lining up at cash machines to withdraw their life savings.

Helicopters buzzed overhead to evacuate personnel from the U.S. Embassy, while smoke rose near the compound as staff destroyed important documents. Several other Western missions also prepared to pull their people out….

Speaking to CNN on Sunday morning, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken tried to push back against any comparison between the Afghan withdrawal and the one that came after the Vietnam War, saying: “This is not Saigon.” However, he acknowledged the “hollowness” of the Afghan security forces....

Kabul was gripped by panic. Helicopters raced overhead throughout the day to evacuate personnel from the U.S. Embassy. Smoke rose near the compound as staff destroyed important documents, and the American flag was lowered. Several other Western missions also prepared to pull their people out.

Fearful that the Taliban could reimpose the kind of brutal rule that all but eliminated women’s rights, Afghans rushed to leave the country, lining up at cash machines to withdraw their life savings. The desperately poor — who had left homes in the countryside for the presumed safety of the capital — remained in parks and open spaces throughout the city.

Trib Live/ AP. Longest war: Were America's decades in Afghanistan worth it?

As President Joe Biden ends the U.S. combat role in Afghanistan this month, Americans and Afghans are questioning whether the war was worth the cost: more than 3,000 American and other NATO lives lost, tens of thousands of Afghans dead, trillions of dollars of U.S. debt that generations of Americans will pay for, and an Afghanistan that in a stunning week of fighting appears at imminent threat of falling back under Taliban rule, just as Americans found it nearly 20 years ago….

The U.S. war left the Taliban undefeated and failed to secure a political settlement. Taliban forces this past week have swept across two-thirds of the country and captured provincial capitals, on the path of victory before U.S. combat forces even complete their pullout. On many fronts, the Taliban are rolling over Afghan security forces that U.S. and NATO forces spent two decades working to build.

Axios. Taliban declare victory in Afghanistan

Taliban leaders declared Monday “the war is over,” after taking control of Afghanistan nearly 20 years on from the militant group fleeing a U.S.-led coalition march into Kabul….

The declaration to Al Jazeera came after the Taliban seized the presidential palace in Kabul Sunday, and following the U.S. evacuation of the American Embassy Monday. The U.S. was taking over air traffic control at Kabul's airport, where chaotic scenes were reported Monday, as foreigners and Afghan citizens attempted to flee….

As the U.S. accelerated its military withdrawal earlier this summer, the Taliban gained ground with extraordinary speed, capturing provincial capitals at a rate that shocked the Biden administration and international community.

New York Post: Questions swirl about Bagram airbase withdrawal amid Kabul airport debacle

As the US faces a protracted and deadly struggle to evacuate its citizens and allies from Afghanistan, questions are swirling about why the military abandoned the capable and secure Bagram airfield — just 40 miles from Kabul’s besieged airport.

Dissent among the rank and file has been simmering. In a viral social media post Friday, Marine Lt. Col. Stuart Scheller denounced military brass for the decision.

“Did any of you throw your rank on the table and say, ‘Hey, it’s a bad idea to evacuate Bagram Airfield, a strategic airbase, before we evacuate everyone’? Did anyone do that?” he fumed.

Scheller was swiftly relieved of his duties.

Wall Street Journal. Who Abandoned Bagram Air Base?

Biden says the military, but the military says he gave them little choice….

Why are American troops in such a difficult-to-defend position? The evacuation is taking place at an urban airport with a civilian wing, and perimeter security is being provided, unbelievably, by the Taliban. Only about 40 miles away is Bagram airfield, the military base that the U.S. vacated in the dead of night in July, without even warning America’s Afghan allies.

President Biden on Thursday [8/26/21] essentially blamed his generals for the Bagram pullout. “They concluded—the military—that Bagram was not much value added, that it was much wiser to focus on Kabul,” he said. “And so, I followed that recommendation.” What Mr. Biden neglected to mention is that the President sets the constraints under which the military draws up plans and evaluates options.

Trib Live/ AP. Biden says he stands ‘squarely behind’ Afghanistan decision

Striking a defiant tone, President Joe Biden said Monday that he stands “squarely behind” his decision to withdraw U.S. forces from Afghanistan and that the Afghan government’s collapse was quicker than anticipated…

The speed of the Afghan government’s collapse and the ensuing chaos posed the most serious test of Biden as commander in chief, and he came under withering criticism from Republicans who said he had failed.

This speech was a joke. Biden did not address any of the issues I discussed in my previous commentary. He instead engaged in the red herring of talking about WHETHER we should withdrawal from Afghanistan, which all sides agree upon, rather than HOW that withdrawal was conducted, which he totally bungled.

He said the buck stopped with him, but then proceeded to blame everyone except himself for the chaos we all saw on TV, which he virtually ignored in his speech.

Bottom line is, people died, ISIS and/ or Al Qaeda will now be reconstituted, with them and the Taliban now armed with our military hardware, Afghanistan is in chaos, Afghans, especially Afghan women, will now see a restricted life, with few rights, and after 20 years, we are right back where we started, all due to Biden’s incompetency.

Fox News. 12 US service members killed in Kabul airport explosion, officials say

A suicide bombing outside of Kabul, Afghanistan’s airport Thursday has killed 12 U.S. service members, officials tell Fox News. A second explosion later took place outside the Baron Hotel, sources say.

Debacle, disaster, catastrophe, fiasco, failure, humiliation, incompetence, ineptitude, stupidity.

I am running out of adjectives to describe the situation in Afghanistan and Joe Biden’s role in it. This sorry excuse for a Commander-in-Chief needs to resign in disgrace. Our country and the world cannot handle 3-1/2 more years of his utter stupidity and incompetence.

Reports are the dead consist of 11 US Marines ad a Navy Medic. Their deaths are the first of US military personal in Afghanistan in 18 months and mark the worse number of deaths in a decade.

I warned in a post last week that Biden’s incompetency would allow ISIS and/ or Al Qaeda to reform. But I was somewhat surprised it took less than a week.

To be clear, the blood of these twelve brave soldiers is on Biden’s head. His incompetence caused it. And if you voted for Biden, you’re responsible as well. We conservatives warned you that Biden was not up to the task. But hey, Trump’s tweets!

Well, which would rather have, a few harsh tweets or dead American soldiers? And it’s just beginning. More body bags are sure to follow. And that is just Americans. The terror Afghans are now experiencing is incalculable.

Meanwhile, Biden’s response throughout this disaster was to first hide out at Camp David on vacation then in the White House, poke his head out once in a while to read a prepared statement off of a teleprompter, then shuffle back into hiding without answering any reporters’ questions. So much for Biden being the Comforter-in-Chief.

As I type this commentary, Biden is set to speak soon. All I want to hear from him is, “I resign. I am obviously not qualified to be Commander-in-Chief.” That should be followed by the resignations of the entire Joint Chiefs of Staff, starting with General Mark “Woke” Miley. Maybe if he was less concerned about understanding “white rage” and more concerned with our real threat, Radical Islamists, this tragedy wouldn’t have happened.

Again, if you voted for Biden, you voted for this disaster and this complete and total incompetence.

Update: The next day, the number of US soldiers killed was updated to 13, including an army soldier, along with 15 injured. 170 Afghans were also killed.

The Right Scoop. WATCH: Biden says he was ‘instructed’ to call on certain reporters in press conf on US military members killed in Kabul

Joe Biden’s handlers prepared the right words for his speech, and he read them reasonably well off of the teleprompter. And he showed the right amount of compassion. Problem is, I didn’t believe a word. I truly doubt we will hunt down and make the terrorists pay under Biden.

Worse, his speech noticeably slowed down as he began to respond to questions from pre-selected reporters. He was obviously struggling to remember how his handlers had instructed him to respond.

It was difficult to watch. If he was just any old guy struggling with cognitive decline, I’d feel compassion on him. But he is supposed to be our leader, and that makes it scary to think this guy is in charge of the most powerful military in human history. That’s how we ended up with 13 dead American soldiers and 15 injured, along with 70 dead Afghans.

Striking Back

Trib Live. AP. U.S. airstrike targets Islamic State member in Afghanistan

Acting swiftly on President Joe Biden’s promise to retaliate for the deadly suicide bombing at Kabul airport, the U.S. military said it used a drone strike to kill a member of the Islamic State group’s Afghanistan affiliate Saturday [8/28/21]….

Biden authorized the drone strike and it was ordered by Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, a defense official said, speaking on condition of anonymity to provide details not yet publicly announced.

Fox News. US drone strike killed 'ISIS-K planner' in Afghanistan, Pentagon says

The United States military has carried out a drone strike against an alleged ISIS-K “planner” following a suicide bombing in Kabul that killed 13 American soldiers and at least 70 Afghans.

“U.S. military forces conducted an over-the-horizon counterterrorism operation today against an ISIS-K planner,” U.S. Central Command Spokesman Captain Bill Urban told Fox News on Friday. “The unmanned airstrike occurred in the Nangarhar Province of Afghanistan. Initial indications are that we killed the target. We know of no civilian casualties.”

Fox News has confirmed that the drone hit a vehicle carrying an ISIS-K leader who was believed to be “carrying out future attacks.” …

The ISIS-K planner was also traveling with an “associate,” Fox News understands.

This is such good news. And I have to give credit where credit is due. Biden at least seems to be keeping his promise to hunt down and make the terrorists pay.

I know it was US Special Forces who were directly responsible for this act of justice. But Biden gave the order, so he deserves credit as well. I need to be consistent, as I gave Trump credit for killing two despicable terrorists (Al-Baghdadi and Soleimani) in my trilogy Dems Cannot Beat Trump, So They Impeach Trump.

However:

It wasn’t clear if the targeted individual was involved directly in the Thursday [8/26/21] suicide blast outside the gates of the Kabul airport, where crowds of Afghans were desperately trying to get in as part of the ongoing evacuation (AP).

Fox News has confirmed that the drone hit a vehicle carrying an ISIS-K leader who was believed to be “carrying out future attacks.”

The media screamed when Trump ordered the killings of Al-Baghdadi and Soleimani, saying they should have been brought to trial not executed. But Trump said it was necessary to kill them when we could, as they were planning future attacks. The media didn’t accept that explanation. But I bet they will now when Biden makes then same claim.

Moreover, none of this changes the fact that this retaliation would not have been necessary, and our 13 brave soldiers would still be alive, if Biden hadn’t bungled the Afghan withdrawal in the first place.

Americans Were Left Behind

(and Military Dogs, Our Afghan Allies, and $84 Billion in Military Hardware)

Most of what I predicted would happen in Afghanistan due to Joe Biden’s incompetence has happened or is happening. The following quotes document this fact, and the total mess and debacle Biden’s ill-planned withdrawal has left in Afghanistan.

May the LORD be with all of the people adversely affected by Biden’s incompetence. It is so bad that many others are now calling for Joe Biden, the top military brass, and other Biden advisors to resign, just as I did last week.

Daily Wire. Last U.S. Military Rescue Plane Leaves Afghanistan, American Citizens Left Behind

The last U.S. Military plane carrying evacuees out of Afghanistan has taken off and is almost out of Afghanistan airspace, ending the U.S. Military’s presence in Afghanistan, even as numerous American citizens remain trapped behind enemy lines.

Townhall. The Pentagon Really Doesn’t Want to Talk About the Americans Being Left Behind in Kabul

By 3:29 p.m. eastern time on Tuesday [8/31/21] there will be no American troops left in Afghanistan, but there will be American citizens left behind in Kabul along with Afghan citizens seeking special immigrant visas to save their families from a dangerous future under Taliban rule in a country filled with ISIS-K and Al-Qaeda terrorists.

Yet the Pentagon dodged questions again after weeks of refusing to put a specific number on the number of Americans who remain on the ground in Afghanistan.

Yahoo! News.  Animals rights group says US handed ‘death sentence’ to working dogs left behind by troops in Afghanistan

The United States, in its hasty withdrawal of forces from Afghanistan, has allegedly abandoned dozens of contracted working dogs, according to an animal welfare group.       American Humane, a non-profit group headquartered in Washington, DC, said the US military contract dogs have been left behind to be “torture and killed at the hand of our enemies”.

PJ Media. Left Behind: Billions in U.S. Equipment for the Afghanistan Taliban to Use Against... Us

Months ago, U.S. forces began either removing, breaking down, or selling for scrap the military hardware they would leave behind on Joe Biden’s hand-chosen date to leave Afghanistan: September 11, 2021. But with Biden’s clueless and hackneyed Bay-of-Pigs-like disaster in Afghanistan, the U.S. is instead leaving to the Taliban billions of dollars worth of weapons and equipment. These are real weapons of war, not the ones BLM and antifa call police rifles and service pistols….

There’s no way to tally the human cost from Joe Biden’s debacle so we won’t try here. How many people dropped from that cargo plane to their deaths? How many women and children will be taken as Taliban “brides”? How many interpreters committed suicide after being left behind because they knew the Taliban were coming to behead them? The questions are answerless.

Instead of defeating the Taliban, we armed them.

The Telegraph. Taliban now has access to $85 billion of American military equipment

As the US makes an emergency exit from Afghanistan, it leaves behind 75,000 vehicles, 200 airplanes and helicopters and 600,000 small arms.

The Taliban now has access to $85 billion worth of American military equipment and the biometric data of the Afghans who have assisted soldiers over the past 20 years, a Republican congressman has warned.

Note: That “biometric data” will be used to identify and execute our Afghan allies Biden left behind. No one will ever trust the USA again, at least while Biden is still in office.

Note also, along with the obvious problems created by arming terrorists with our weapons, there is now the practical problem that with the Taliban now dressed in US military uniforms, carrying US weaponry, and riding in US Humvees, if or when our military  has to confront the Taliban again, it will be impossible to distinguish between them and us. That could led to a slowed response to attacks and more friendly fire tragedies.

Along with weapons, we also left behind a large supply of night goggles. That takes away a major tactical advantage we had over the Taliban, of our troops being able to see at night but not the Taliban.

National Post. Afghanistan's healthcare system near collapse, aid agencies warn

Afghanistan’s healthcare system is at risk of collapse, two major aid agencies told Reuters, after foreign donors stopped providing aid following the Taliban takeover….

International donors including the World Bank and European Union froze funding to Afghanistan shortly afterwards. “One of the great risks for the health system here is basically to collapse because of lack of support,” said Filipe Ribeiro, Afghanistan representative for Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), one of the largest medical aid agencies in the country.

Fox Business. Afghanistan faces threat of economic collapse after Taliban takeover

The Afghan economy may be on the brink of collapsing, just two weeks after the Taliban seized control and toppled the U.S.–backed government in Kabul in a sudden military blitz.

The country's economy was already struggling before the Taliban regained power, and the Islamic group's sudden ascension has prompted the international community to crack down on Afghanistan's finances, freezing assets and pausing crucial foreign aid.

“Afghanistan was already facing the triple threat of COVID-19, conflict and drought. Even before recent events, the World Food Programme had announced that up to 14 million Afghans were food insecure,” Ajmal Ahmady, the former head of Afghanistan's central bank, wrote in an op-ed for the Financial Times. “Now, the country must also deal with an economic shock. With the freezing of $9 billion of foreign reserves, import coverage has dropped from more than 15 months to only two days overnight.”

India Today. Men not allowed to teach girls in Afghanistan: Taliban ban coeducation

The Taliban have formally announced a ban on coeducation in Afghanistan, saying men would not be allowed to teach girl students….

“The move has effectively deprived girls from higher education because universities cannot afford to provide different classes nor there are enough human resources,” tweeted Afghan journalist Bashir Ahmad Gwakh.

Oplndia. USA: Republican senators and representatives call for Joe Biden to resign as President after US marines were killed in Kabul bombing

12 US service members were killed in the Kabul bombing on the 26th of August with death toll among Afghan civilians reported to be at least 90 at the time of writing this report and climbing. Under such circumstances, calls are being made for US President Joe Biden to resign from his post….

Senator Marsha Blackburn said that it is not only Joe Biden who should resign but Vice President Kamala Harris, Secretary of Stat Antony Blinken, Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin and General Milley, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, should resign as well.

New York Post. Ex-military officers call for Austin, Milley to resign over Afghanistan debacle

Dozens of retired generals and admirals have called on Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark Milley to step down, accusing them of “negligence” in connection with the disastrous US troop withdrawal from Afghanistan.

Biden Truly is Delusional

Trib Live/ AP. ‘President Biden praises airlift, defends departure from ‘forever war’

Addressing the nation, a defensive President Joe Biden on Tuesday called the U.S. military airlift to extract more than 120,000 Afghans, Americans and other allies to end a 20 year war an “extraordinary success,” though more than 100 Americans and thousands of Afghans looking to leave remain.....

Biden has faced tough questions about the way the U.S. went about leaving Afghanistan — a chaotic evacuation and spasms of violence including a suicide bomb that killed 13 American service members and 169 Afghans.

He is under heavy criticism, particularly from Republicans, for his handling of the evacuation, though it successfully airlifted more than 120,000 people from Kabul airport.

But he said it was inevitable that the final departure from two decades of war would be difficult with likely violence, no matter when it was planned and conducted….

Blinken put the number of Americans still in Afghanistan at under 200, “likely closer to 100,” and said the State Department would keep working to get them out. He said the U.S. diplomatic presence would shift to Doha, Qatar.

Joe Biden truly is delusional if he things the words “extraordinary success” describe his debacle of a withdrawal from Afghanistan. Even the AP is forced to point out some of his ineptitude. Joe went on to blame former President Trump and the Americans he left behind in Afghanistan for the debacle.

He claims he was bound by Trump’s faulty deal. Let’s be clear, Biden did not follow Trump’s plan beyond just the basic outline of the agreement with the Taliban that they would let us leave without attacking us if we left without attacking them by some arbitrary deadline. But that agreement had conditions, and when the Taliban broke their end of the agreement, Trump bombed them. Moreover, Biden ignored other provisions of the Trump’s plan, such as benchmarks that needed to be reached and of working out a shared power agreement between the Taliban, the Afghan government, and local tribal leaders.

But most of all, Biden is now POTUS, he was free to forgo Trump’s plan altogether and substitute his own, as he did on our southern border, leading to the disaster there. If it was such a faulty deal as he claims, then it makes no sense he did not abandon it.

More despicable is him blaming the Americans in Afghanistan for them not leaving sooner. He claims they were warned 19 times over the previous few weeks to get out, but they chose to stay. Maybe that is because they heard Biden back on July 8 saying the 300k strong Afghan army would hold, and the Taliban would not take control of the country. Don’t blame those Americans for your miscalculations.

I highly question that number of 100-200 Americans left behind. Private organizations that are working to get them out say there are thousands, along with tens of thousands of our Afghan allies. But they are being blocked by our State Department, or so claimed Glenn Beck of The Blaze on Newsmax last night (8/31/21).

Finally, once again, Biden ended his speech and shuffled away without answering any questions. He truly has no spine if he cannot even stand there and take questions from a media that is bias in his favor. But he probably fears a hard question might slip through, and he knows he cannot handle such and defend his debacle in Afghanistan.

10,000s of Withdrawn Afghans Not Our Allies

Joe Biden’s basis for calling the Afghan withdrawal an “extraordinary success” in his speech on August 31, 2001 was that 10,000s of our Afghan allies were evacuated. But now, NBC News is reporting that many of those withdrawn Afghans were not really our allies. They were just random Afghans who happened to make it to the Kabul airport. We in fact have no idea who they are, as background checks turned up blank. They could be ISIS and Al Qaeda members or sympathizers for all we know. I saw this reported on both Fox News and Newsmax.

Emphasizing this point is Virginia City was told to prepare for refugees who aided our troops as translators. But when the refugees got there, Virginia City officials realized they did not even know English and are scrambling to find real translators who know both Afghanize and English.

You would think checking if someone knows English would have been an easy test to conduct at Kabul, before evacuating Afghans who claimed to work as translators.

What happened to our true Afghan allies? We left them behind to the tune of tens of thousands to be tortured, raped, and executed by the Taliban.

Meanwhile, back in July, when Biden was assuring the American public, including Americans in Afghanistan, that the Afghan army would stand up against the Taliban, he knew that was not the case. We now know that, as he was asking the Afghan president to lie and say all was fine in Afghanistan even if it were not.

Thus, when I said the reason Americans did not self-evacuate when warned to do so was because they believed Biden’s “miscalculation,” I should have said Biden’s “lie.” That lie then led to Americans being trapped behind enemy lines to also be tortured, raped, and executed by the Taliban.

Our country cannot handle another 3-1/2 years of Biden’s incompetence and ineptitude. But sadly, you cannot impeach a President for being incompetent. The American people voted for this inept, cognitively struggling old man (or so we have been told), so we are stuck with him. As I prayed previously, may the LORD be with the USA and protect us from the worst of Biden’s ineptitude.

“I don’t have an estimate for you on the numbers of SIVs and family members who are still there,'' said the senior official, who was in Kabul for the evacuation. ‘But I would say it's the majority of them, just based on anecdotal information about the populations we were able to support.”

Instead, Biden focused much of the 14-minute call on the Afghan government’s “perception” problem, Reuters reported.

“I need not tell you the perception around the world and in parts of Afghanistan, I believe, is that things are not going well in terms of the fight against the Taliban,” Biden said. “And there is a need, whether it is true or not, there is a need to project a different picture.”

Biden’s repeated efforts to pressure Ghani into making false or misleading statements about the situation in Afghanistan, especially during a conversation about U.S. financial and military assistance, is likely to arouse concern among American voters who oppose corruption and abuses of powers from their leaders.

Fox News. White House official ‘appalled and literally horrified’ that Biden stranded Americans in Afghanistan: report.

A White House official said they were “appalled and literally horrified” that President Biden left Americans stranded in Afghanistan, a new report reveals.

An administration official told Politico that they were stunned by the president’s decision to leave Americans behind as the Taliban solidifies their power in the country and reportedly engages in door-to-door executions.

Politico. Biden tries to shift blame on Afghanistan.

President Joe Biden said Tuesday [8/31/21] that he took “responsibility” for his decisions on Afghanistan. As for any mistakes made — well, he offered plenty of potential culprits….

Biden spent no time dwelling on his own broken promises — including a vow to fly out any U.S. citizen who wished to leave — and instead delivered a defiant address to close out America’s longest war,…

The drawdown of the war in Afghanistan represents the most significant failure Biden has confronted in his presidency — one where he repeatedly failed to meet his lofty promises and flawed predictions….

When pressed on some of the predictions, Biden and his administration again and again sought to shift responsibility elsewhere.

Daily Caller. WSJ Editorial Board Goes After Biden For ‘Dishonest’ ‘Defiant’ And ‘Accusatory’ Defense Of Afghanistan Withdrawal.

The Wall Street Journal published an editorial board opinion piece Tuesday calling President Joe Biden’s defense of the Afghanistan withdrawal “dishonest,” “defiant” and “accusatory.”

“President Biden’s defiant, accusatory defense on Tuesday of his Afghanistan withdrawal and its execution was so dishonest, and so lacking in self-reflection or accountability, that it was unworthy of the sacrifices Americans have made in that conflict,” the Wall Street Journal article read.

WSJ. A Dishonest Afghanistan Accounting.

The charitable interpretation is that this is what Mr. Biden really believes about Afghanistan in particular, war in general, and how to defend the U.S. The uncharitable view is that he and his advisers have decided that the only way out of this debacle is to lie about it, blame everyone else, and claim that defeat is really a victory. Neither one is reassuring about Mr. Biden’s character, his judgment, or—most ominously—the long three-and-a-half years left in his Presidency.

Start with the dishonesty, although we only have space to cover some of the falsehoods. Mr. Biden again claimed he was hamstrung by Donald Trump’s bad deal with the Taliban.

PJ Media. Biden Must Stop Blaming the Americans Stuck in Afghanistan for the Deadly Predicament They Are In.

President Biden and his flaks continue to dance around the narrative they need to push to get out from under the shame of leaving Americans behind when the last U.S. forces abandoned Hamid Karzai International Airport (HKIA) in Kabul. As PJ Media’s Matt Margolis reported earlier, text messages between Americans and military commanders show the U.S. knew it was happening. “We are f—ing abandoning American citizens,” one Army colonel with to the 82nd Airborne texted. The colonel detailed a failed effort to evacuate a group of American citizens hours before our troops left the country for good.

The botched evacuation makes the Biden administration culpable for any stranded Americans getting harmed in the Taliban-controlled Islamic Emirate. But their rhetoric before the fall of the Afghan government makes them just as responsible. Any horrors that result from their cowardice and incompetence fall squarely on their shoulders. Not the victims.

Just the News. Evidence mounts that Biden manufactured weeks-long false narrative on Afghanistan

The bungled, bloody U.S. exit from Afghanistan now has some fearing the Biden administration practiced deception by omission and commission to create a two-month false narrative that misled Congress and the American public by making the situation in and around Kabul look better than it was.

Two powerful pieces of evidence emerged this week that strongly suggest the Afghan exit wasn't just a case of incompetence but rather an intentional effort to use PR lipstick to disguise a Biden plan that was secretly willing to accept chaos and stranded Americans as a possible outcome to avoid further military casualties during the exit.

Trib Live/ AP. Pentagon reverses itself, calls deadly Kabul drone strike an error

The Pentagon retreated from its defense of a drone strike that killed multiple civilians in Afghanistan last month, announcing Friday that a review revealed that only civilians were killed in the attack, not an Islamic State extremist as first believed.

“The strike was a tragic mistake,” Marine Gen. Frank McKenzie, head of U.S. Central Command, told a Pentagon news conference.

For days after the Aug. 29 strike, Pentagon officials asserted that it had been conducted correctly, despite 10 civilians being killed, including seven children. News organizations later raised doubts about that version of events, reporting that the driver of the targeted vehicle was a longtime employee at an American humanitarian organization and citing an absence of evidence to support the Pentagon’s assertion that the vehicle contained explosives.

McKenzie said the vehicle was struck “in the earnest belief” that it posed an imminent threat.

“I am now convinced that as many as 10 civilians, including up to seven children, were tragically killed in that strike,” McKenzie said. “Moreover, we now assess that it is unlikely that the vehicle and those who died were associated with ISIS-K, or a direct threat to U.S. forces,” he added, referring to the Islamic State group’s Afghanistan affiliate….

The family said that when the 37-year-old Zemerai, alone in his car, pulled up to the house, he honked his horn. His 11-year-old son ran out and Zemerai let the boy get in and drive the car into the driveway. The other kids ran out to watch, and the Hellfire missile incinerated the car, killing seven children and an adult son and nephew of Zemerai.

Yet one more tragedy caused by the inept Biden administration. Maybe if Biden was more concerned about people’s qualifications for the job than what intersectional boxes they frilled, and real issues, not woke causes and fake threats, such acts of incompetence wouldn’t keep occurring.

This tragedy also shows you cannot fight terrorism “over the horizon” as Biden claims. You need people on the ground, which we no longer have in Afghanistan thanks to Biden’s incompetency.

All Biden did with this attack is give the Taliban a talking point against the USA. They will now claim it is the USA that are the terrorist and baby-killers. And with Biden and his woke, inept administration in charge, it is hard to say they are wrong.

Alleged Corruption, Bias, and Fraud: Allegations of the Corruption of Joe Biden, Bias of the Media and Big Tech, and Fraud in the 2020 Election

This book covers events from October 2020 to New Year’s Day 2021 that are directly related to the 2020 presidential election. Those events include revelations about the alleged corruption of Joseph R. Biden via his son Hunter Biden. However, the mainstream media (MSM) and Big Tech did their best to hide that potential corruption from the American public, so that Biden could win the election. That worked, or so it was said. But allegations of voter fraud and anomalies abounded.
