Biden’s “Threat to Democracy” Speech
(which was really another hate-filled, fearmongering, divisive diatribe)
I began working on my book Tragic Ending to Donald J. Trump’s Great Presidency shortly after the tragic events of January 6, 2021. But for personal reasons, I got side-tracked from working on it. By the end of 2021, I still had not finished it. I figured by then it was “old news” and wasn’t going to bother to finish it. But then the media and Dems made such a big deal out of the first anniversary of J6, I realized it was still relevant and finished it.
By then, Biden’s presidency was clearly failing, and Dems needed something to run on for the 2022 and 2024 elections. It was clear, J6 would be that something. Hence, that and this J6 Commission book to refute their lies and deceptions about that day and my Joe Biden Tweets During the First Year of His Failing Presidency books to remind voters of the failures of the Biden administration.
The above is a quote from my page 188 of my book The Biased J6 Commission. It was published on September 17, 2022. Biden confirmed my prediction that the tragic events of January 6, 2021 (J6) is all Democrats have to run on in his 20-minute, 7:00 pm speech of Wednesday, November 2, 2022.
It was aired on most cable new stations like CNN, MSNBC, and even FNC. Newsmax started with it but the cut from it. The big three commercial stations, ABC, CBS, and NBC, did not carry it. CBS Evening News, however, mentioned about the speech but did not air it, even though the newscast was on at the same time as Biden was speaking. But it noted Biden had been working and planning on this speech for weeks, but it was the attack on House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s husband Paul that pushed him to give it.
It was from CNN pundits that I got the name for this speech as “Threat to Democracy” as they used that phrase repeatedly when talking about it afterwards. But other news outlets called it his “Democracy at risk” or “Democracy at stake” speech.
Attack on Paul Pelosi
Biden opened the speech by trying to compare the attack on Paul Pelosi to J6. He claimed it was “false claims” of election fraud that led to that attack, just as they lead to J6. But in reality, what led to the attack on Paul was California Gov. Gavin Newsom’s sanctuary state policies. If it were not for those policies, the attacker, who was a Canadian illegal alien with a long rap sheet, would have been deported back to Canada long ago and become Canadian PM Justin Trudeau’s problem.
The attacker was also homeless, living in a bus, while it is the failed economic policies of Gavin and Joe Biden that are leading to the homeless crisis in America. Add in their soft on crime policies, and the stage was set for the attack. Such attacks are in fact becoming commonplace in Biden’s America, especially in blue states and cities (NYP. Seriously; Newsmax. Dems Run).
However, there are several comparisons between that attack and J6 that Biden did not mention. The first is the lack of security, with Nancy Pelosi being at the center of both failures. I discuss the issue of the lack of security despite prior warnings of potential violence on J6 in both my J6 Commission book and my book Tragic Ending. And yes, Nancy was at least partly responsible for that failure.
And now, with this attack, I just cannot fathom why an alarm did not go off both in the Pelosis’ house and at the local police station as soon as the attacker broke a window. It should not have taken Paul needing to make an excuse to get into the bathroom where his cell phone was charging to call 911. Given that the Pelosis are multi-millionaires, surely, they could afford such a home security system that millions of Americans have protecting their homes.
Second is the lack of release of video. There are thousands of hours of video from J6 that have not been released. I speculate in the preceding books that it is mostly of people peacefully entering, milling around, and exiting the Capitol Building, without engaging in any acts of violence or vandalism. But such video would not fit the J6 Select Committee narrative of J6 being one of the most violent events in American history, so it is being suppressed.
In the Pelosi attack, the security and Bodycam videos have not been released. But I will not speculate as to why.
Third, the Capitol Police, among others, had foreknowledge of potential violence on J6. But they also did not request enhanced security. Why not? That is a vital question that was never even asked let alone answered in the J6 Committee public hearings, as I discuss in my J6 Commission book.
In the Pelosi attack, the Capitol Police did have security cameras at the Pelosi residence, but no one was monitoring them at the time of the attack. They only became aware of it when police vehicles arrived at the scene. But at least this time, that lack of monitoring is being investigated.
Otherwise on the Pelosi attack, it is disingenuous for Biden in this speech and Dems and the mainstream media in general to claim the attacker was a “MAGA Republican.” Along with being a Canadian, homeless, illegal alien, he was a drug-dealing, radical nudist who sold hemp jewelry and had progressive beliefs, according to his ex-girlfriend. Those are hardly the marks of a conservative.
Here’s what we know fer sher about David DePape… He’s a nudist who lives in a Berkeley hippie commune that flies the gay flag and Black Lives Matter banners.
He also sounds like a drug-addicted loon.
He’s also an illegal alien taking advantage of California’s sanctuary policies.
To begin with, if this guy were indeed MAGA, he would have deported himself (Breitbart. Six Reasons).
Right-Wing But Not Left-Wing Violence Mentioned
While Biden mentioned that attack, J6, and threats on election workers as examples of political violence by the right, he completely ignored the far more extensive political violence by those on the left:
But while Biden specifically mentioned the attack on Paul Pelosi, the January 6 riots on Capitol Hill, and harassment of public voting officials, he did not outline examples of political violence from leftists.
A man tried to stab the Republican candidate for governor of New York Rep. Lee Zeldin in July. A woman allegedly bit an attendee at a rally for Republican Tudor Dixon in Detroit in October.
A Marco Rubio volunteer canvassing for the campaign in October was viciously beaten by four individuals who allegedly told him that Republicans were not allowed in their neighborhood.
Biden also did not mention the armed man who was arrested outside Brett Kavanaugh’s home in June plotting to kill the Supreme Court Justice in his dismissal of “violent” Republicans.
Instead, Biden focused on “Extreme MAGA” violence against Democrats and other Republicans (Breitbart. Joe Biden Silent.)
In the References at the end of this article are links to articles by Breitbart and the New York Post (NYP) about other incidents of violence by leftists against GOP candidates that Biden did not mention. But most of all, Biden did not mention the 500+ BLM/ Antifa riots of the spring to summer of 2020, which were far more extensive, deadly, and damaging than J6. That is why “Police back Republican candidates in U.S. midterms, even those at Jan. 6 riot.”
Reuters spoke to nine police unions and trade associations across the United States ahead of Tuesday’s midterm elections, of whom six said their members were endorsing more right-wing candidates than in previous elections. The groups said Republicans had offered greater support to police in the wake of 2020 protests over police killings of Black people.
The rightward shift held true even in races where a Republican candidate attended the Jan. 6 rally. More than a dozen candidates who have publicly acknowledged being present at the event – none of whom have been charged with a crime – are running for U.S. Congress, statehouse and statewide offices.
Six of those candidates received police endorsements, a Reuters review found. In interviews, union representatives said they felt comfortable backing them because there was no proof they broke any law or supported the violence that ensued (Reuters. Police back).
That last sentence would apply to the vast majority of those who attended Trump’s “Save America “rally on J6, as I discuss in my Tragic Ending and J6 Commission books.
2020 Election Fraud Claims
I find it interesting Biden seems to be talking about 2020 election fraud more than Donald Trump has been of late. But all Biden can do is vilify those of us who believe there were irregularities in that election. He called us “extreme MAGA Republicans” and said we were a “threat to Democracy” in this speech. He used similar derogatory terms in his Soul of a Nation Speech I wrote about previously.
What I state in that article about that speech applies to this speech:
What I think is gnawing at Biden is Trump’s continual refusal to concede the 2020 election and that millions of us believe Biden was only declared the winner due to fraud and irregularities in that election.
Biden can deny it all he wants, but I document such in my book Alleged Corruption, Bias, and Fraud. Recognizing such problems occurred is not an affront to democracy as Biden claimed in his tirade, but it is the saving of it by fixing what went wrong in 2020. It is not having elections people can trust that is the real affront to democracy, as I discuss in that and subsequent books.
As yes, that is millions of us. Yet Biden tried to soften it by saying we are just a minority in the Republican Party. But in fact, the vast majority of Republicans doubt the results of the 2020 election, “In poll after poll, about 70% of Republicans say they don’t think Joe Biden is the legitimate winner of the 2020 election.” (from a June 16, 2022 Poynter article).
70% of the 74 million of us who voted for Trump is 51,800,000 Americans Biden vilified as being threats to democracy in this speech. But in fact, it is the lack of election integrity that is the true threat. Moreover, the potential problems in the 2020 election keep coming to light, and only some of the problems are being corrected for 2022.
Take, for instance, that the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania just ruled that mail-in ballots without the required handwritten date on the outer envelope should not be counted. That is because PA law clearly states the voter must sign and date that envelope. But that law was ignored in 2020, and those votes were counted.
Even worst, election officials in here in Allegheny County (where Pittsburgh is located) have declared that election officials should contact voters who failed to date their ballots and give them a chance to fix the problem. That is known as “curing” a ballot. However, I have not heard of such being done in other countries in southwestern PA.
That is exactly what I talk about in my Corruption and other books and refer to as, “the partisan curing of mail-in ballots.” This is partisan as Allegheny County is a very blue county, while the surrounding counties are very red. But if ballots are allowed to be cured in Allegheny County but not elsewhere, that is partisan ballot curing. It occurred in 2020 and could occur again in 2022.
This is a significant point considering the following, “In 2020’s presidential election, Philadelphia reported receiving almost 381,000 mail ballots. Out of those, it logged about 8,300 undated ballots” (AP. Pennsylvania). Philly is a very blue city. Those ballots could be cured in 2020, but in many red areas in PA, they could not be. Such situations are why many of us have questions about the results of the 2020 election and are still concerned about 2022.
“Election Deniers” vs. Election Integrity Laws
Biden in this speech, following the news media and other Dems, have dubbed all of us with such questions about 2020 as “election deniers.” He even claimed over 300 GOP candidates across the country are “election deniers.” That was in fact an underestimation. The New York Times reports, “Over 370 Republican Candidates Have Cast Doubt on the 2020 Election.” To that I say, “Good!” Getting people who believe in election integrity in office will save our Republic.
And yes, that is what our country is, a Republic, more specifically, it is a Constitutional Republic. But 37 times in this speech, Biden referred to the USA as a Democracy. But, as a Red State article put it, “Thank God the U.S. Is Not a Democracy.”
How many times have we heard Joe Biden and congressional Democrats hyperbolically whine about a threat to “our Democracy,” 99 times out of 100 in reference to Donald Trump and “MAGA Republicans”; the other time when fearmongering about “the existential threat to mankind,” so-called “climate change”? …
Let’s be clear: When Democrats talk about “democracy,” they mean Democrat rule. They mean Americans should think what they’re told to think, believe what they’re told to believe, and do what they’re told to do by so-called “progressive” Democrats….
All of the Founders were explicit in their criticism of pure democracy, which is why they looked for solutions that led to what we now refer to as a constitutional republic.
A constitutional republic is a type of government in which there is democratic voting, but individual power is limited by the existence of a constitution that protects certain rights. In a constitutional republic, people elect representatives, and those people generally vote to make decisions or laws. The existence of a constitution makes it impossible for the representatives to create laws that violate people’s rights in certain areas.
The subject of that last sentence is more under threat in Joe Biden’s America than at any other time in modern history. Yet Biden continually lies about Donald Trump and “MAGA Republicans,” as he did in his Thursday night Darth Brandon tirade [a different speech]: “Donald Trump and MAGA Republicans are a threat to the very soul of this country.” Joe Biden is shameless, America — but you already knew that (Red State. Thank God).
I would add to the second paragraph, “and vote for Democrats.” In this divisive speech, Biden made it clear that voting GOP was the threat to democracy he was warning about. You must vote for Democrats to save our Democracy was the message.
President Biden used a Wednesday night speech to describe the midterm elections as a choice between preserving democracy by voting for Democrats or putting it “at risk” by backing “extreme MAGA Republicans” (NYP. Biden urges).
In regard to that “democratic voting,” what you did not hear from Biden in this speech was an apology for his vilification of GOP election integrity laws that were passed in Georgia and other red states. Starting back in the spring, he has called those laws “Jim Crow 2.0” and or “Jim Eagle” (whatever he meant by that) and claimed they would suppress voter turnout (see my article Voting Rights Bills vs. Election Integrity Laws).
But in fact, there ended up being record voter turnout in Georgia’s 2022 spring primaries. And I heard on October 18th on WJAS 1320 AM that on the first day of early voting, 100,000 people voted, a record turnout for day one. Then Newsmax reported on November 5, 2022, the day after early voting ended, that 2.4 million Georgians had voted. That was also a record. That puts Georgia on path for another record voter turnout overall. The same could be said for other states that passed those voter integrity laws.
Therefore, all of the fearmongering by Biden and his leftist cronies is proving to be much ado about nothing:
President Biden warned of rising voter “intimidation” no less than nine times in his Wednesday speech but offered absolutely no evidence to back it up. Why? Because there isn’t any. Yes, rhetoric (from both the left and right) can get ugly, and someone, somewhere, might’ve threatened some voter. But turnout this year is already breaking records (NYP. The week).
Blaming Trump
In his speech, Biden blamed Trump for there being “election deniers.” However, the reason so many of us doubt the results of the 2020 election is not because of Trump but because we have taken the time to study the issue and have concluded there were irregularities in that election.
That is the whole point of my Corruption book, to study claims of election fraud and to determine which are valid are which are not. I continue that evaluation in my book Trump’s 2020 Election Tweets, Georgia Phone Call, and January 2021 Speeches. For the record, I do not always agree with Trump’s claims in these books. But I do document sufficient reasons for many such claims.
Biden also claimed Trump was responsible for right-wing violence, in particular that attack on Paul Pelosi and J6. But the subtitle to my Trump’s Tweets book is Did Trump’s Claims of Election Fraud Lead to the Capitol Building Uprising? I also address that question in my Tragic Ending and J6 Commission books.
The answer is “No.” But Biden and Dems will continue to make that claim through this election and through 2024, especially if Trump runs again. That is why those books are so vital and will be for a long time to come.
What He Did Not Talk About
As for the rest of Biden’s speech, he did not talk about the country’s economic problems. He did not talk about the 40-year high inflation and still too high gas prices. He did not talk about The Fed raising the prime rate once again to try to offset that inflation, making buying a home and business and other loans prohibitively expensive and possibly leading to a recession (Reuters. Federal Reserve).
He did not talk about the still occurring supply chain problems and the resultant empty store shelves, the crashing stock market, the open southern border and the resultant influx of illegal aliens and fentanyl contributing to the opioid epidemic, the aforementioned crime wave in blue areas, the war in Ukraine, and our children being sexualized and taught to be racists in public schools.
There is also Biden's support for the sinful and destructive LGBTQ movement and the killing of unborn babies. In other words, all of the problems created by the failing Biden administration and leftist policies. I cover these and many more problems in my two-volume set Joe Biden Tweets During the First Year of His Failing Presidency.
Since this speech was given just five days before the 2022 midterm elections, you would have thought Biden would have focused on his record, touting all of his accomplishments. But given the preceding list of “accomplishments,” he had to distract the American public with talk of J6 and “election deniers.”
The Background
At least the background for this speech was better than for Biden’s "Soul of a Nation" Speech. That speech had a hellish red background that was much criticized. This time, there were several American flags in the background.
However, the speech was given at Washington’s Union Station. From what I have heard, it used to be not just railroad station but also a bustling retail center. But the shops have all closed due to high rate of crime and homelessness in the area. Starbucks was the last shop to close. It now looks like a ghost town.
That is the case with many blue areas. Crime has driven businesses out of the area, leading to homelessness in the area. But again, Biden mentioned none of that. And the cameras did not show the deserted areas in the train station or the homeless camps.
Conclusion
This was yet another divisive, hate-filled speech by Joe Biden. But that is all he and Dems have to run on, attacks on Repubs, no matter how ill-founded. They cannot run on their records, given the preceding list of failures. That is why my Biden Tweets books are so important, to document those failures. I will be following up those two books with two on the second year of Biden’s falling presidency.
In the meantime, details on the aforementioned books can be found at Books and eBooks by the Director. But note, my J6 Commission book will soon to be updated, expanded, and retitled to The Biased J6 Select Committee. That is so I can include a chapter on the last public hearing in October and details on the subpoenaing of Trump by the J6 Committee. As such, you might to hold off on purchasing it. That is why I did not link to it in this article. But the rest are good to go now.
In the meantime, vote. If you have not done so already, vote. But when you do, don’t believe Biden’s fear mongering that GOP candidates are a threat to democracy. In fact, a red wave will be the way to save our Republic.

This book covers events from October 2020 to New Year’s Day 2021 that are directly related to the 2020 presidential election. Those events include revelations about the alleged corruption of Joseph R. Biden via his son Hunter Biden. However, the mainstream media (MSM) and Big Tech did their best to hide that potential corruption from the American public, so that Biden could win the election. That worked, or so it was said. But allegations of voter fraud and anomalies abounded.
