Crazy and dangerous day in Pittsburgh

Trib Live. Garfield standoff with barricaded gunman enters 5th hour.

Crazy and dangerous day in Pittsburgh. Upwards of 1,000 rounds fired. After now six hours (5:00 pm EDT), the situation is still not resolved. Prayers for all involved and affected.

Trib Live. Suspected Garfield gunman dead after 6-hour standoff.

He was probably already dead when I posted my first message. At 4:50 pm, there was a minute long exchange of gunfire that sounded like the finale to a fireworks display. Sad that he died, but good that no one else was injured, except for a minor head wound to an officer, sustained while jumping for cover at the start of the incident.

Debate Questions

Here are the questions I would like to ask the GOP candidates in the debate tonight.

How would you stop the onslaught of the sinful and destructive #LGBTQ movement?

How would you stop the sexualization and mutilation of children that is occurring across the country?

How would you protect women’s sports and privacy from men pretending to be women intruding into their spaces?

Of course, there is no way Fox News would ever ask such questions. But they are vital, especially given that Biden is fully behind all of this nonsense. That is one of the reasons I included the phrase “Promoting Sin” in my books on his failing presidency.

I have been concerned about these issues for years, as reflected in my books on Sex and the Bible.

Fox News. Trump indicted on charges out of Special Counsel probe into Jan. 6.

“The Defendant, Donald J. Trump, was the forty-fifth President of the United States and a candidate for re-election in 2020. The Defendant lost the 2020 presidential election,” Smith’s indictment states. “Despite having lost, the Defendant was determined to remain in power.”

Smith alleged that “for more than two months following election day on November 3, 2020,” Trump “spread lies that there had been outcome-determinative fraud in the election and that he had actually won.” It lists various claims Trump's team made during post-election state challenges in Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.

“These claims were false, and the Defendant knew that they were false,” Smith alleged. “But the Defendant repeated and widely disseminated them anyway — to make his knowingly false claims appear legitimate, create an intense national atmosphere of mistrust and anger, and erode public faith in the administration of the election.”

Legal scholar Jonathan Turley, on Fox News’ Special Report” made it clear that this indictment hinges on one question—“Did Trump truly believe the 2020 election was ‘stolen?” Note, the question is NOT, “Was the 2020 election stolen” but did Trump believe that it was.

If he did, then he was not spreading “misinformation” as the indictment claims but claims he truly believed were true.

In my series of five books on the The 2020 Election, the January 6 “Insurrection,” and Their Aftermath, I record Trump’s actual words in the weeks, months, and years following the 2020 election. Read them, and decide for yourself whether Trump truly believes the election was stolen or not.

Hunter Biden. Devon Archer. Tony Bobulinski. Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky. The Ukraine prosecutor Viktor Shokin. Jonathan Turley. Alan Dershowitz.

What do all of these people have in common? They are names you have been hearing of late in regard to the alleged corruption of Joe Biden. They are all also mentioned, and their importance discussed in my three-volume set on the first Trump impeachment and a follow-up book.

What Trump was impeached for was wanting that potential Biden corruption investigated. But rather than  doing so back then, and to distracts from Biden’s corruption, Dems impeached Trump, and the media went along with the subterfuge.

We are seeing the same again today. But to become informed on the background to all of this, check out my books:

Dems Cannot Beat Trump, So They Impeach Trump

Joe Biden's Failing Presidency

This series of five books provides the definitive record of Biden’s failures in his first two years as President. These failures should not be forgotten, as they laid the foundation for his continual failures in his subsequent years as President. He has been failing miserably on both domestic issues and in foreign policy. Those failures are all chronicled in these five books.

The above commentaries were posted in August 2023.
