I am publishing an extra issue of this, my Darkness to Light Newsletter, this even-number month, instead of my FitTips for One and All newsletter. That is because of the upcoming midterm elections here in the USA. With early voting already occurring, I wanted to publish the final parts of my article on the LGBTQ movement now, rather than waiting until next month. Then the first of November, I will publish an article about saving the lives of unborn babies, before the actual Election Day of November 8, 2022.
These two topics, the killing of unborn babies and the expansion of the destructive LGBTQ moment, should be at the forefront of how Christians in American vote. Whether America votes to continue and even to expand these two sinful movements or to restrict them will determine if the United States remains One Nation Under God or if we go the way of Sodom and Gomorrah.
This article is rather long, and I will be posting it as two parts (as Part Two and Part Three) on the DTL website. But I am including both parts here, again, so as to finish this series before the midterm elections. For the sake of space, the References for both parts are only posted on the website but linked at the end of each part. There is also a link to additional references not cited in either part but which add further support to the claims and warnings in the article.

This Part Two of a three-part article is composed of excerpts from my two-volume set Joe Biden Tweets During the First Year of His Failing Presidency: Reversing Trump, while Dividing and Destroying America. Pride In Sin Month Revisited
Here we see more coddling to the sinful far-leftwing of the Democrat Party by Biden. I said it before, but it bears repeating—dedicating an entire month to celebrate sin is truly incomprehensible for a nation that was founded on Biblical values. It is even more incomprehensible when a President who claims to be a Christian caters to this crowd.
But we have veered so far from our Biblical roots that this celebration of sin seems perfectly normal to most people, especially to the younger generation. But that has been the LGBTQ agenda all along, to get their behaviors recognized as normal, no matter how many lives are destroyed in the process.
The issue of women’s (or girls’) sports being infiltrated by males identifying as female will become more and more of an issue as time goes on. Such a practice has the potential to destroy women’s sports.
I addressed such in my book God’s Sex Plan: Volume Two, with examples from the two sports I have competed in, powerlifting and wrestling. I also mention about lawsuits being filed in track over this issue. But such is now happening in many other sports, such as in swimming, here in the commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
While University of Pennsylvania transgender swimmer Lia Thomas, who spent three years at the Ivy League school swimming as a male, has been busy smashing female pool records, friction has been building within the team, according to a Penn female swimmer who said she feared for her ability to find employment after graduating from college for sharing her honest opinion about a transgender teammate. For that reason, OutKick is granting her anonymity to speak out.
Thomas’ latest round of swimming record destruction came at a three-day meet in Akron, Ohio, where numerous pool, meet and program records weren’t just destroyed but lowered to a point where they may never be broken. Friday [12/9/21], the Ivy League 500 freestyle record was broken. Saturday, Thomas set the nation’s best time in the 200 free-style, which also destroyed pool, meet, and Penn program records.
In the 1650 freestyle final, Thomas didn’t just win and set new program, pool, and meet records. It was total annihilation. Penn’s Anna Kalandadze finished in second place — 38 seconds behind Thomas (Fox News. Pennsylvania).
Thomas, who was a second-team All-Ivy League swimmer as a male, now owns the fastest 500m female freestyle time in the nation after setting an Akron pool record and lowering the Penn women’s all-time record with a time of 4:34:06.
How dominant was Thomas’ performance? The Penn sports information department reports Will/Lia set a pool record and meet record in the prelims and then went more than 12 seconds faster in the finals to beat her teammate Anna Kalandadze who had a time of 4:48.99.
That’s right, Will/Lia won the Zippy Invitational 500 free by 14.39 seconds (OutKick. Transgender).
Thus, records are being broken and championships won by men claiming to be women, moving those records and championships out of the reach of real women. But those real women are afraid to speak out due to fears of repercussions.
My book was published in 2018. But it is even more relevant today, as the LGBTQ agenda becomes more entrenched in American society, with now the President of the United States in full support of it:
White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki defended President Biden’s executive order that called on schools across the country to permit students to participate in sports under their chosen gender identity.
When asked by a reporter Tuesday [2/9/21], what Biden’s message was to school officials tackling the disputes regarding transgender and cisgender girls competing together, particularly for college scholarships, Psaki said, “the president’s belief is that trans rights are human rights.” ...
But the administration has not given any direction as to how public schools should handle tough questions surrounding what is considered fair for high school athletes – something that former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley has voiced frustration over.
“Across the sporting world, the game is being rigged against women and in favor of biological men,” the South Carolina Republican, wrote for the National Review Monday. “President Biden is the latest man to do the rigging, which is strange coming from someone billed as a defender of women.”
“Generations of women fought hard to ensure that their daughters and granddaughters had a level playing field, because girls deserve the same chance as boys to play sports,” she said. Adding that “transgender kids deserve support and respect,” but “the fact remains, however, that biological boys and girls are built differently” and “the best male athletes have a natural advantage over the best female athletes” (Fox News. Psaki).
Note that “cisgender” refers to someone who is normal, a male who knows he is a male, or, in this case, a female who knows she is a female; while “transgender” is a female who thinks she is a male, or again in this case, a male who thinks he is a female.
But, as Haley points out, there are significant differences biologically between males and females, no matter how they identify. And these differences are why some states are making moves to ban men who identify as women from competing as women. One such measure was introduced here in PA by five female Republican lawmakers. But sadly, our Democrat Governor says he will veto the bill.
A group of female Republican lawmakers on Monday [4/5/21] unveiled a bill they said was intended to protect biological girls and women who take part in school sports from competing against athletes who were born male.
The proposal, they said, came in response to President Joe Biden’s Jan. 20 executive order that banned discrimination based on gender identity. A spokeswoman for Gov. Tom Wolf said he would veto the bill if it reached his desk.
The five Republican women — Reps. Valerie Gaydos of Allegheny County, Barbara Gleim of Cumberland County, Stephanie Borowicz of Clinton County, Dawn Keefer of York County and Martina White of Philadelphia — said athletes born male have intrinsic advantages over those born female. Those differences, they said, are a basic reason the landmark federal Title IX legislation in 1972 required girls and boys be given equal opportunities in sports (Trib Live/ Morning Call. Female).
Lawmakers in neighboring Ohio have introduced a similar bill:
Transgender girls would be banned from participating in female sports teams in high school or college in two bills introduced by Republican lawmakers in Ohio, which became the latest state to take up the contentious debate….,
The proposals, titled the Save Women’s Sports Act, would require schools and higher education institutions in the state to designate “separate single-sex teams and sports for each sex.”
“In most instances, when young women are forced to compete against young men in athletic competition, it places them at a fundamental disadvantage,” GOP Rep. Reggie Stoltz-fus told members of the House education committee last week. “A disadvantage that threatens their athletic achievement and even collegiate scholarship prospects” (Washington Times. Ohio).
Meanwhile, the Governor of South Dakota is looking to ban men claiming to be women from competing in women’s sports nationwide.
South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem on Monday [3/22/21] urged fellow governors, high-profile athletes and everyday citizens nationwide to join an initiative seeking to bar transgender girls and women from participating in female sports….
Noem invoked Title IX, the landmark 1972 U.S. law that bans sex discrimination in education and was crucial to the rise of women’s and girls’ sports in public schools and universities.
“We’re here today to talk about fairness in women’s sports,” said Noem, adding that an athlete’s designated gender at the time of birth should be definitive.
The South Dakota legislation was one of 37 bills introduced in 22 statehouses this year that would limit the rights of transgender athletes.
Mississippi’s Republican governor signed that state’s bill into law on March 11. A similar law passed in Idaho last year has been blocked by a federal court (Reuters. South).
All of this flurry of activity is due to the executive order signed by Joe Biden.
Also, don’t miss the misleading statement by Reuters in the preceding block quote that these laws “would limit the rights of transgender athletes.” No they would not. Transgender people are free to compete in the sport for the gender they were born as and are biologically.
Note also, you never hear about problems with women who identify as men entering men’s sports and dominating against real men. It is only men identifying as women dominating in women’s sports. If there were no difference between the sexes as transgender advocates claim, then there should be equal problems both ways. But the fact that there is not is proof of the gender inequality of allowing men to compete as women.
All of that said, let me make it clear, any kind of physical or verbal bullying of anyone, be they of the LGBTQ community or not, is wrong. All people deserve the basic respect afforded all people due to all of us being created in the image of God. But respecting someone’s basic human rights and accepting their sinful and dysphoric behavior as normal are two different things. Back to Biden….

To comment, there were no “attacks” on the LGBTQ community during the Trump administration, which is the veiled claim you are making. Trump appointed the first openly gay man to a cabinet post (Richard Grenell as Acting Director of National Intelligence).
However, Trump realized the problems having transgender men and women serving in the military could cause, from their reliance on artificial hormones to taxpayers having to pay for their sex change operations, so he banned them from serving.
That is the only move I can remember you could possibly be referring to. But it was not an attack. It was a logical move to keep the military focused on its mission of military readiness. But by rescinding that order, you are turning the military into a social experiment, lessening its military readiness.
Moreover, your using Title IX to allow transgender boys and girls to compete according to their gender identity rather than their biological sex will negate the whole purpose of Title IX, that of giving women an equal playing field….

To comment, you could start by firing that incompetent Pete Buttigieg. You only nominated him because he is gay. He never had any qualifications for the job of Transportation Secretary. That lack of experience is now rearing its ugly head, as this crisis worsens and he is at home on paternity leave, after he and his “husband” adopted twin boys.
But strangely, when Pete released a picture of the four of them, his “husband” was lying in a hospital bed holding the two babies. That made it look like he had just given birth to them, which of course, he did not, since men cannot give birth to babies. It was truly strange.
But worse was Pete did not appoint someone to be in charge while he was away playing house. That is what led to this crisis getting so bad….

To comment, you could thank them by rescinding your vaccine mandate. Given that our brave soldiers are most all young and healthy, such a mandate makes little sense. Unless, that is, its real purpose is to purge the military of conservatives. That will make it easier for you to use the military for your social experiments of allowing transsexuals in the military, of enforced “proper” pronoun usage, and of focusing on white supremacists and climate change, rather than our real enemies, like Russia, China, Iran, and North Korea….

Final Thoughts on the Sinful and Destructive LGBTQ Movement
I will close this three-part article with some final thoughts.
Others Affected by Homosexual Marriage:
Twenty years ago, when homosexual marriage was first being proposed, we were told it would not affect others. That two men getting married would not adversely affect anyone else.
But then Jack Phillips refused to compromise his Christian faith and decorate a cake for a homosexual wedding, and his life was turned upside down. He spent the next several years fighting one court case after another, as his business shrank to a fraction of what it was previously. He ultimately won in the Supreme Court in 2018. But shortly thereafter, he was again being sued for refusing to decorate a cake to celebrate a transexual’s “transition.” He is now again in a long series of court fights (Fox News. Jack).
And Jack is not alone. Many people have had their lives ruined because they do not want to go along with the sinful LGBTQ agenda. Florists, reception hall owners, caterers, and many others who do not want to participate in homosexual weddings or other LGBTQ ceremonies are being sued, harassed, driven out of business, and “cancelled.” Pastors and their churches will be next if they refuse to conduct homosexual marriages.
Pervasiveness of the LGBTQ Movement:
“Drag Queen Story Hour” is becoming commonplace in grade schools across the country, without parental knowledge or consent (Postmillennial. Drag). They are even being used as fundraisers (Trib Live. Drag queen bingo). Little girls are dressing like boys and using different names and pronouns at school than at home, with teacher approval, but again, without parental knowledge or consent (Daily Signal. Wisconsin). Entire classrooms of children are “coming out” as LGBTQ, again, without parental knowledge or consent (Daily Caller. Texas; Newsmax. Teacher).
State departments of education are advocating for the use of made-up pronouns like “ze” and “‘xe” (Fox News. Pennsylvania) and are saying children as young as three can change their gender (Postmillennial. Pennsylvania). University professors are joining in on “transitioning” kids that young (Gateway Pundit. Yale). Schools want terms like “genderqueer,” “non-binary,” and “pansexual” to be used, rather than “male” and “female” (Fox News. San Diego).
Hazards of the LGBTQ Movement:
The Monkeypox outbreak is being driven by extreme promiscuity among male homosexuals, with Monkeypox patients on average having had ten different sexual partners in the month prior to infection (Newsmax, et. al.).
Meanwhile, “trans regret” is becoming an increasing problem, especially for teenagers. But once teens have been deceived into having perfectly healthy body parts cut off and/ or messing up their endocrine systems with dangerous hormones, it is difficult if not impossible to go back to their true biological sex (NYP. ‘I literally lost organs:’, et. al).
Even when there is no regret, the transition does not alleviate underlying mental health problems (GHQ. Regret rates). It also does not reduce the risk of suicide, as is often claimed. If anything, gender transitions increase the risk of suicide (Christian Post. States). I address all of these issues in more depth my Sex Plan books.
And yes, such operations and hormone treatments are being performed on minors, at children’s hospitals across the USA. Do not let liberals lie and claim otherwise. See under “Trans Surgery and Hormones for Minors” and “Trans Regret” in the References for documentation of all of these points.
But beware if you try to fight back. Parents are being threatened with losing custody of their child if they do not go along with the child’s desire to identify as the opposite sex (Daily Wire. Parents; NYP. How). Complaining about a man wearing a woman’s bathing suit being in a women’s locker room and ogling little girls got the complainee kicked out of the facility, not the pedophilic fake woman (Fox News. 80-year-old). But then, the far left is trying to change the term “pedophile” to “minor-attracted person” (MAP). That is to soften the stigma associated with this perverted behavior (Hot Air. Texas teacher; Breitbart. Paedophile Academic). While attempts to stop this madness are being outlawed (Hill. Pennsylvania).
It Will Affect You Sooner or Later:
We now have a President and political party who are fully behind this sinful and destructive movement. If it hasn’t affected you yet, just wait; sooner or later it will.
For instance, a long-time female friend recently told me her 31-year-old nephew wants to become her niece. She said her normally very liberal sister is having a hard time dealing with it.
And I recently hear a story on a Christian current events podcast I listen to in which the female host said she took her five-year old girl to what she thought was a family-friendly Community Days event in her hometown. But then she was shocked and dismayed when the MC was a drunken, foul-mouthed drag queen. She hoped her daughter would not notice. But on the way home, her little girl asked her, “Mommy, why was that man wearing a dress?” That put her in the very uncomfortable position of trying to explain something to a child way too young to understand such things (Breakpoint for 9/16/22).
Fighting Back:
This fall, you can vote to slow the tide of this destruction of people’s lives and denial of reality, or you can vote for the continuation and deepening of it. Victories are possible, as seen in many cases of late (e.g., Daily Caller. Florida; Virginia; Wisconsin). But it requires parents getting involved in their children’s education (Fox News. Parents) and in elections, from school boards to statewide elections.
Here in Pennsylvania, we have a choice for Governor between Democrat Josh Shapiro, who, like Biden, is fully in the tank of the LGBTQ movement and will push its agenda, and Republican Doug Mastriano, who will stand against it.
Josh is also fully for PA becoming a “Sanctuary Commonwealth” for women to come here to kill their preborn babies, while Doug will sign legislation that will protect the lives of preborn babies (Trib Live. Pa. election 2022).
I am sure the situation is similar in gubernatorial and other races across the country. And the support of Biden and Democrats for the killing of preborn babies will be the subject of the next issue of *Darkness to Light newsletter.
The Ultimate Answer:
However, political advances are only part of the answer to this destructive movement. A spiritual revival in America would be the ultimate answer. Christians are fond of quoting 2Chronicles 7:14. But verse 13 needs to be quoted with it for the context.
13If I should restrain the heaven, and there should be no rain, and if I should command the devouring locust to devour the tree[s], and if I should send death [fig., pestilence] on My people; 14then if My people, on whom My name has been called upon them, should be ashamed [fig., repent] and should pray and seek My face and turn from their evil ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will be merciful to their sins, and I will heal their land (ALT).
Verse 13 describes what has happed in the USA over the past two and a half years. With the Covid pandemic, the BLM/ Antifa riots, the surge in violent crime across the country, mass shootings, soaring inflation, the supply chain crisis, and other economic problems, leading to a rise in food insecurity and homelessness, it is clear we are already under the judgment and wrath of God. Paul describes the USA today in greater detail in Romans 1:18-32:
18For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven upon all ungodliness and unrighteousness of people, [upon] the ones suppressing the truth in unrighteousness. 19For this reason, the [thing] known of God is revealed among [or, within] them, for God revealed [it] to them. 20For from [the] creation of [the] world, His invisible [attributes] are plainly seen, being perceived by the [things] made, both His eternal power and divinity, so that they are without excuse.
21For this reason, having known God, they did not glorify [Him] as God nor did they give thanks, but they were given over to deception in their thought processes [or, they became futile in their speculations], and their senseless heart was darkened. 22Professing to be wise, they were made silly; 23and they exchanged the glory of the incorruptible God for a likeness of an image of corruptible people and of birds and of four-footed animals and of reptiles.
24And so God also gave them over in the lusts of their hearts to impurity [or, immorality], to the dishonoring of their bodies among themselves; 25who exchanged the truth of God for the lie [or, changed the truth of God into a lie], and worshipped and sacredly served the creation rather than the One having created, who is blessed into the ages [fig., forever]. So be it!
26Because of this, God gave them over to dishonorable, lustful passions, for even their females exchanged the natural use for the [use] against nature, 27and likewise also the males having left the natural use of the female were inflamed in their craving for one another; males with males committing shameful behavior and receiving back in themselves the requital which was fitting [for] their deception [or, perversion].
28And just as they did not think it was worthwhile to be having [or, keeping] God in [their] true knowledge [or, consciousness], God gave them over to a disapproved [fig. debased] mind to be doing the [things] not proper, 29having been filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetous desire [or, greed], malice; full of envy, murder, bitter conflict, deceit [or, treachery], maliciousness; gossips, 30back-biters, God-haters, insolent persons, arrogant boasters, schemers of evil [things]; disobedient to parents, 31senseless, untrustworthy, without natural affection, unforgiving, unmerciful; 32who having known the regulation [or just judgment] of God, that the ones practicing such things are deserving of death, not only are doing them, but they are also approving of the ones practicing [them] (ALT3).

Second Post-Surgery Appointment and Continuing Progress is a new update on
Rotator Cuff Injury 2.0: Part Four. X-rays showed the surgery took, and I am
progressing as planned. But
it has now been 1-1/2 years
since I have had full use of both arms at the same time. It is really getting
tiresome. It will probably be sometime next year before I will have full use of
my right arm and can stop stressing out over reinjuring it. That stress is even
worse than the physical limitations.
