Wokism in Health Articles

CNN. Holding your pee can have dangerous health risks, experts say (via WTAE).

This is why people, especially those with female anatomy, are told to pee after sex since the friction of sexual activity can push bacteria into the urethra….

People who are pregnant should also take extra care to honor the urge to pee...

Five years ago, both of these sentences would have contained the simple word “women.” But now, since we are supposed to believe “people” who are not women can have “female anatomy” and can get pregnant, this word salad is used.

It is bad enough for such reality-denying nonsense to be seen in the general public, but in health articles written by those who supposedly know basic biology, it is truly disturbing. It makes me doubt everything this article has to say on this subject. If the author doesn’t know basic biology, then why believe anything else she has to say about the human body and health?

Pardons and Guilt

AP. Biden is considering preemptive pardons for officials and allies before Trump takes office (via WTAE).

One of the claims of the J6 Select Committee as to why Trump and his allies were guilty of criminal offenses for the events of January 6, 2021 is that several of Trump’s allies asked for pardons before Trump left office. That claim of asked for pardons is disputed by those who supposedly asked for them, saying they never ask for such.

But still, the claim of the J6 Committee was that just asking for a pardon was an admission of guilt. But now, Biden is planning on issuing blanket pardons like he did for his son. That one I could understand (a father protecting his son), though the scope of it was quite outrageous. It covered not just the crimes he was charged with and convicted of but any possible crimes going back eleven years.

That covered time period went back to the when Hunter was “working” in Ukraine and China, getting paid millions for jobs he had no qualifications for, while those countries were the very ones Joe Biden was point man of as VP during the Obama administration. It was wanting that possible criminal behavior of Hunter and Joe investigated that got Trump impeached the first time. Then the second impeachment was over J6.

The implication is clear: if Trump allies asking for pardons is a sign of guilt on his and their part, then Biden issuing pardons for his son and his allies is him admitting his and their guilt. The reasoning in both cases is faulty. But Biden is saying that Trump has promised to go after his political opponents, and that is why the pardons were needed.

That is the same reasoning I offer in defense of the asked for pardons from Trump, if indeed they did happen. The Trump allies knew Dems would be going after everyone associated with J6, and they wanted preemptive protection. That proved to be the case, with over 1,100 arrested over J6. Trump is sure to pardon many of those J6 arrestees, and the left is sure to go nuts. But Biden’s pardons give him cover for them. And besides, most of the J6ers should be pardoned anyway.

All of this is covered in my various political books. The first impeachment and Hunter’s activities that led to it is covered in my Impeach trilogy: Dems Cannot Beat Trump, So They Impeach Trump: The issues surrounding J6 and why the J6ers should be pardoned is covered in my five-book series on that and related subjects: The 2020 Election, the January 6 “Insurrection,” and Their Aftermath.

Finally, the following poll is interesting:

Do you approve or disapprove of President Biden’s decision to pardon his son, Hunter?

Approve: 33%
Neutral: 13%
Disapprove: 51%
Other / No opinion: 3%
Based on 2,815 responses (Washington Bureau. Biden).

Five books cover every aspect of the 2020 Election, the January 6 “insurrection,” and their aftermath. Starting with claims of fraud and irregularities in that election, to the tragic events of January 6, 2021 (J6; the so-called insurrection), the subsequent second impeachment of Donald J.
