“We’re all going to die!” Well, maybe not.

“WE’RE ALL GOING TO DIE!”

Well, maybe not.

The following article is excerpted from my forthcoming book Dems Cannot Beat Trump, So They Impeach Trump. It is the conclusion to a chapter titled, “Foreign Affairs at the Start of the New Year.” It will be seen that I tie in current foreign affair issues to the ongoing impeachment fiasco.

When Syrian President Bashar al-Assad gassed his own people, Trump destroyed the launch site with cruise missiles. The mainstream media (MSM) and Dems screamed, “WE’RE ALL GOING TO DIE! Trump is going to start a war in the Middle East.” But al-Assad backed down.

A year later, al-Assad was at it again. This time, US, French, and British forces struck targets in Syria. The MSM and Dems all screamed, “WE’RE ALL GOING TO DIE! Trump is going to start a war in the Middle East.” But al-Assad backed down and has not been heard from since.

When Trump recognized Jerusalem as the rightful capital of Israel and moved the US embassy there, the MSM and Dems all screamed, “WE’RE ALL GOING TO DIE! Trump is going to start a war in the Middle East.” There were a few protests for a couple of days, and that was it. Nothing happened. And Jerusalem is now quietly the Israeli capital and our embassy sits quietly in it.

When Trump began calling North Korean leader Kim Jong Un “Little Rocket Man,” the MSM and Dems screamed, “WE’RE ALL GOING TO DIE! Trump is going to start a nuclear war with North Korea.” But Kim backed down and stopped firing off his missiles for the next year.

When Kim promised Trump a “Christmas present” that all assumed would be a nuclear test or a missile test, the MSM and Dems all screamed, “WE’RE ALL GOING TO DIE!! Trump is going to start a nuclear war with North Korea.” But nothing happened. No Christmas present. No nothing.

When Trump pulled our troops, a whopping 50 soldiers, out of northern Syria, the MSM and Dems all screamed, “WE’RE ALL GOING TO DIE! Trump is going to start a war in the Middle East.” And “we’re abandoning our allies the Kurds.”

But the MSM failed to explain there were different Kurdish groups, and the groups the Turks called terrorists were different from the groups that were our allies. The Turks took out a few of those terrorists and built a buffer zone between them and Turkey, and that was the end of that. There is now peace in the region.

When Trump took out the despicable ISIS leader Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi, the MSM and Dems all screamed, “WE’RE ALL GOING TO DIE! ISIS is going to retaliate and kill us all.” But they forgot Trump had defanged ISIS like the dentist on Rudolph did with the Abominable Snowman, making him a “Humble Bumble.” And nothing happened. ISIS is simply no longer a major threat, thanks to President Trump.

And most recently, when Trump took out another despicable man, Iranian terrorist leader Qassim Suleimani, the MSM and Dems all screamed, “WE’RE ALL GOING TO DIE! Iran is going to retaliate and kill us all.” But all Iran did was to lob a few token missiles at the parking lots of a couple of airbases in Iraq, killing no one.

The MSM forgot that we, the United States, have the greatest military force the world has ever known, and even more so now under President Trump. But the Iranians leaders did not forget that. They knew if they seriously retaliated, Trump would bomb 52 important sites in Iran, turning them into giant holes in the ground.

Consequently, the Iranian leaders orchestrated a subterfuge on their own people. They lobbed all of 20-24 missiles, but they put the video of the launches on a loop to make it look like they had shot hundreds. Our media fell for the subterfuge, also putting the same video on a loop, trying to scare all of us into thinking it was a major attack, when it was not. The missiles killed no one, injured no one, caused little damage, except to put a few potholes in the parking lots.

Then the Iranian leaders claimed they had killed dozens of Americans and injured hundreds. Trump, the wise leader that his is, let them get away with propagandizing their own people, knowing he had won this round. And that will probably be the end of any saber rattling from Iran for some time. At least for as long as Trump is President.

However. don’t expect the MSM or Dems to ever admit they were wrong, and Trump was right. They will just go onto their next unjustified criticism of the President’s foreign policy. Just as they never admitted they were wrong after three years of screaming, “Trump-Russian collusion!” Instead, they just moved on to the current “Ukraine pressure hoax” that we are still in the midst of and to which we return in the next chapter now that this “crisis” has been averted.

Note: The issue with the Turks and Kurds was explained previously in this book. The Kurdish groups that were our allies are still our allies, as seen by the Iraqi vote mentioned previously in this chapter. The situation with Iran was explained in this chapter. Other issues mentioned in this section are explained in detail on my politics website.
