Opposing Viewpoints Sites

The following sites present viewpoints that are in opposition to those of Darkness to Light. These links are presented here as an aid to the Christian apologists in doing primary research and for anyone who wants to study both sides of a subject before making a decision (Prov 18:13,15,17).

Inclusion of a Web site on this list does not mean Darkness to Light disagrees with everything promoted on the site. But the overall perspective of the site is contrary to the position of this ministry.

Arminianism:
Evangelical Outreach - "Apologetics, defending the faith against eternal security, once saved always saved."

Volitional Theology - "Calvinism? Arminianism? There IS another choice." But sounds like Arminianism to me.

Atheism-Agnosticism:

Council for Secular Humanism - Presents general information on humanism, articles, declarations of humanists, and links to publications promoting humanism.

Chick Publications Home Page - Lists available Chick tracts and books, many of which promote KJV-onlyism.

Dial the Truth Minsitries - "Our purpose is presenting the truth and exposing error with the light of the Word of God, with emphasis on The King James Bible and Christian music. We stand on the sole authority of the King James Bible (A.V. 1611)."

Jesus-is-Lord: The Bible - Articles promoting KJV onlyism.

Logos1611 - "Promoting the Purity of the Preserved Word of God." - "The KJV, I believe, is the preserved word of God for the English-speaking world since 1611 and stands without error."

Prof's Soapbox - Articles listed under "The Text and Translation of the New Testament" promote the "Critical Text."

Note: Along with various doctrinal disagreements, Darkness to Light is opposed to the overly aggressive approach of many KJV onlyists.. For more on this matter, see the article "Judge Not ..." on this Web site.

Note: This site includes a critique the excerpt of of my eBooklet New World Translation: A Reliable Bible Version? seen on the preview page. However, I long since revised that excerpt to respond to the criticism on this site.

Watchtower - "Official Web site of Jehovah's Witnesses - This is the only official web site of the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society, the legal organization in use by Jehovah's Witnesses. While other sites may express favorable or unfavorable opinions about us and our work, this site is the authoritative source about the beliefs, teachings, and activities of Jehovah's Witnesses." Note: The Watchtower ordered all JWs to take down their sites. Hence why this is the only pro-JW site listed.

Mormonism:
Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints - Official Web site. Includes "Beliefs, facts, statistics, and policies of the Church" and other information on the Mormon church.

New Age Movement:
